How much does e-scooter sharing cost in LeipzigMOVE?

The activation fee for e-scooters is €1 per ride. As soon as you start the rental, you pay an additional €0.22 for every minute or part thereof. This applies to the e-scooters of both partners (Voi and TIER (dott)).

I am in a wheelchair, how can I use a cab?

If you are dependent on an accessible cab, please call the cab company 4884 directly on 0341/4884. This allows the cab company to respond specifically to your request. In this case, your booking is not processed and billed via the LeipzigMOVE app but directly via the cab company.

What can I do if my need is not covered by a cab option in the app? (e.g. cab with child seat)

For requests that are not covered by the "Options" function, you must contact the cab company 4884 by telephone on 0341/4884 report. In this case, your booking will not be processed and billed via the LeipzigMOVE app but directly via the cab company.

What can I do if my cab doesn't show up?

For various reasons, the cab may take a little longer to get to you. The cab may still be on its way to you. However, you can also cancel the cab request if no driver appears. As long as you have not yet started the journey, you will not incur any costs.

Can I cancel cab bookings?

Yes, you can cancel your journey free of charge before it starts. Simply click on "Cancel" in your app booking.

How do I pay for the cab ride?

You don't need to have cash or a debit card with you, as you can pay for your journey conveniently via your LeipzigMOVE account using the payment method you have selected. At the end of the journey, the cab driver will give you a receipt for the amount to be paid. Sign it to confirm the fare. This exact amount will also appear later on your LeipzigMOVE invoice.

Can I give a car sharing vehicle to family or friends to use?

No, the use of a vehicle by another person is not possible. Making your account or a vehicle freely available to friends or family members is therefore not permitted and will result in the termination of your contract.

Can I shorten my booking if I arrive at the car sharing station earlier?

Du kannst deine Buchung über die App verkürzen, falls du viel früher als geplant an der Station zurück bist. Dir wird jedoch trotzdem der volle Preis berechnet.

What happens if I return to the car sharing station too late?

Late return of the vehicle will be penalized with a fine of up to €50. Extend the booking before the end of the booking period via the app or the hotline (0341/4921000) as soon as you realize that you will need the vehicle for longer. If the vehicle has already been booked by another user after you, it is unfortunately not possible to extend the booking in the app. Please call the hotline anyway so that a solution can be found with the next customer. This will also reduce the penalty payment.
