Login or Register
Log in or register with your private email address in LeipzigMOVE.
Step 2
Activate mobility budget
Your employer provides you with a budget, e.g., €20 per month. You activate it in the LeipzigMOVE app under „Mobility Budget“ in the side menu.
Step 3
Enter work email address
Enter your work email address under „Mobility Budget“ and your mobility budget will be unlocked.
Step 4
Verify service email address
Afterwards, confirm your official email address in the email you receive from us. Simply click on the verification link.
Step 5
Deposit payment method
For any additional costs that may arise, we require your private payment method. Please deposit this in the app.

The mobility budget is a monthly amount provided by the employer for mobility. You can use it directly through the LeipzigMOVE app for various means of transport.
- Public transport (bus, tram, commuter train, Flexa) - CiCo unfortunately cannot be used with the mobility budget
- E-scooter

- Bicycle boxes and garages
ABOs cannot be purchased with the mobility budget. However, you can privately enter into a LeipzigMOVE+ contract and pay for the discounted tickets in the app using your mobility budget. The monthly base fee for LeipzigMOVE+ will be charged to your private payment method.
Your employer must provide the offer. Simply approach your company about it.
Log in to LeipzigMOVE or register with your private email address. Then, activate your mobility budget in the side menu under „Mobility Budget.“ You will need to enter your company email address there for your mobility budget to be activated. You will then receive an email with a verification link to your company email address and must confirm the activation email. Afterwards, you will enter your private payment method in the app for additional costs, e.g., for incorrectly parked Nextbikes and e-scooters, or if your budget is used up. You can now use the mobility budget for your commutes and everyday travel.
Usage is covered by your budget. Your private payment method will only be used for additional costs, for example, if your budget is depleted or if there are surcharges for incorrectly parked Nextbikes and e-scooters. In the side menu, you will find an overview of how much budget you have remaining for the specified period.
The mobility budget can be considered a benefit in kind. It is processed through your employer.
No. Everything runs through the LeipzigMOVE app.
Yes, you will earn points in the BonusMOVE bonus program for your bookings, even if payment is made through the mobility budget. Please register for BonusMOVE in the app first. From now on, you will collect points and rewards with every use of a means of transport in LeipzigMOVE. You can redeem these for coupons with partners all over the city. You can find more information about BonusMOVE at leipzig-move.de/bonusmove.
Unfortunately, the mobility budget cannot be used proportionally when purchasing public transport tickets. This means:
If your remaining budget is, for example, €1 and the ticket costs €3.80, the total amount will be charged to your private payment method.
Status units and coupons are always used first – before your mobility budget.
Important: They apply to a single trip or a specified usage period (e.g., 15 minutes).
No combination with the mobility budget takes place during an active ride.
